CPC 24
On Jan 9th-11th we were blessed to take part in CPC 24. The theme was “Uncommon, it was hosted at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. It was a wonderful time of fellowship, being
revived by the Holy Spirit, and being introduced to so many resources that can help our
ministries be God sized!!! Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 2:9 “ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the
excellencies of Him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
We were created for relationship with our Creator!!! He calls us out of darkness into his marvelous light. Our Joy and completeness can only be found in Him.
CPC 24 featured Amazing guest speakers, worship, and break out sessions. We were able to focus on areas in ministry where we need fresh ideas, or new tools to help us succeed. Topics included: Volunteer Recruitment,
Leading Up and Out, Identity Found: How to help kids know their identity in Christ, How to help children enjoy their quiet time with God and many others.
While at CPC we were able to learn more about each other, that included participating in an “Escape Room”. This required team work, communication, strategy, and a whole lot of patience. We did end up “escaping” (with an extra 15 minutes). We learned that we all had strengths and weaknesses, and we had to work together to succeed as a whole. The same is true when Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12: 24"But God has so composed the body, giving greater honor to the part that lacked it, 25 that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.” We are better together, and we should always strive for Unity.
