Crescent Bags of Love Outreach

Each week, Cross Point helps to feed students from Crescent Elementary school through the Bags of Love outreach.

The school identifies children that may be in a situation where there is little food in the home. During the school week, the students receive free, hot meals provided by the school. However, over the weekend, these children may go hungry. Through our outreach, these children are provided bags of easily prepared foods to take home before each weekend. Each bag contains breakfast, lunch, and dinner, as well as snacks.

The average cost to feed children through this outreach is $500 per month and is made possible through Cross Point's Faith Promise Missions and Outreach program. We could not provide this valuable outreach to our local community without the support of our church family.
