Why Small Groups Make a BIG Difference

We help to equip our church family to impact others. When we are equipped, we are able to make the most of our time and resources, and take advantage of the unstoppable opportunities God gives us to truly impact the lives of others. One way Cross Point helps to equip our church family is through small groups. These are smaller, more intimate groups that gather mid-week to dive into specific topics related to and supporting our faith, such as a Bible study in a specific book, a study on families, parenting, marriage, who is God, how to walk with Jesus and many many more.

Here are just a few ways joining a small group benefits our church family.

1. Small groups lead to transformation. Building intimate friendships, learning about faith, becoming a people of prayer and study, and connecting to God.

2. Small groups lead to connection with one another.

3. Small groups increase in spiritual growth. Friendships grow as we begin to speak love and truths to one another.

4. Small groups increase in serving. Small groups create an outlet for ministry, planning and serving the community together.
