Life in the Camp
In this closing message of the Family Values series, we look at an unexpected moment in Moses's leadership when he's overwhelmed by the burden of leading God's people. Moses is honest with God about being crushed under the weight, and God's response is beautiful: He doesn't rebuke Moses for struggling—He provides help. God distributes the burden among seventy elders, showing us that His design has always included community. Many families today try to do it all alone, believing they should be self-sufficient or that asking for help is weakness. This message challenges that mindset, emphasizing that the Christ-centered family understands it needs others—whether that's extended family, small groups, mentors, or the church community. We weren't meant to parent alone, grieve alone, or celebrate alone. God's design includes carrying one another's burdens.
